【摘要信息】:Sensors containing either one or two oxide phases, SnO2---Sb2O4 and WO3---Sb2O4, have been synthesized with controlled architectures. The biphasic sensors, composed of an active phase for the detection of formaldehyde (SnO2 and WO3) and a non-active phase, but capable of producing oxygen spillover (Sb2O4), show synergy with respect to sensitivity and have a shorter detection time. It is shown that the surface mobility of the oxygen species enables the results to be explained, without excluding the possibility of the formation of a new electronic structure, or of some electronegativity or surface acidity effects. This suggests that the spillover phenomenon and remote control could be of use in improving the sensor characteristics.

【摘要信息】:The sensing properties of ZnO-based thin film sensors for trimethylamine(TMA) gas were investigated. ZnO-based thin films for use as sensors were deposited by a RF magnetron sputtering method. We examined the effects of various metal oxide additives and sputtering gases on ZnO-based thin film. To improve the stability of the electrical resistance of the thin films, heat treatment at 330.DEG.C. in oxygen was carried out for 72h. To investigate the sensing properties for TMA gas, we measured the Hall effect, and analyzed the Auger electron spectroscopy(AES) and X-ray diffraction(XRD) results. The ZnO-based sensor was fabricated using thin film sputtered in oxygen and codoped with 4.0wt.% Al2O3, 1.0wt.% TiO2, 1.0wt.% In2O3 and 0.2wt.% V2O5. This sensor showed the highest sensitivity of 264 at the working temperature of 300.DEG.C. for 160ppm TMA gas. Its surface carrier concentration was 2.96*1023cm-3 and its Hall electron mobility was 18cm2/Vs. (author abst.)

【摘要信息】:ZnO thin films doped with Al2O3, TiO2 and V2O5 With a thickness of about 100 nm were deposited on heated (250 degrees C) SiO2/Si substrates by RF magnetron sputtering. Sputtering deposition was carried out at a pressure of 10 mTorr in oxygen gas at a power of about 80 W. A ZnO thin film sensor with 4.0 wt% Al2O3, 1.0 wt% TiO2 and 0.2 wt% V2O5 showed high sensitivity to 10 ppm trimethylamine at a working temperature of 250 degrees C and to higher concentrations (160 ppm) at a working temperature of 300 degrees C.

【摘要信息】:Attention has been recently focused on the harmful effects of aldehydes; hence, various laws regulate the use of most aldehydes. Therefore, a quick, easy, and continuously operating method of detecting aldehydes is required. In this study, we utilized the silver mirror reaction known as a specific reaction of aldehydes to detect aldehydes selectively. We performed the silver mirror reaction on a working electrode surface, and the reaction products which were deposited on the surface were measured by voltammetry. As a result, we could develop a simple measuring method of detecting aldehydes quickly that could distinguish aldehydes from ketones. In addition, we configured the measurement conditions to make the continuous measurement of aldehydes possible. We brought together the reaction field and electrolysis cell, optimized the supporting electrolyte and the mixing ratio of diamine silver ions of ammoniacal silver nitride solution, and improved the controlling sequence of the voltage applied to the working electrode. Consequently, we could continuously measure the level of aldehydes. (author abst.)
